Day 15 – Triathlon Training Program

Today was a swim drill day.  I don’t know about you, but I have a tendency to drop my elbow thus losing a lot of power on my stroke.  So I worked on the drills, and then I would do a few lengths of the pool concentrating on my stroke.  I did this for a total of 50 minutes.  I also was keeping track of my swim strokes to see if I could lower the stroke count … By the way, I was between 20 – 22 strokes for the 25 meter pool.

Anyway, I worked on my stroke by watching the two following videos:

I recommend watching each of the videos two or three times prior to heading to the pool.  This will allow you to visualize what you will be doing with each of the drills.  Then do a few lengths performing the drill, then do a few lengths putting the drill into action.
